a month on vacation at home - take three

November 1, 2010

In the spirit of getting to bed on time, while still managing to properly celebrate one of my favorite weekends - I spent Halloween at the Downtown Independent, with a couple of my very favorite people.

I was home by 11:00.

My mother commented that I was, perhaps, "Becoming a normal person."

Once I kick whatever this nameless exhaustion is?

Not a chance.

In the hopes of sounding intelligent for my class assignment of responding to a lovely blog such as yours, I would like to say that your interaction with your readers is superb. I was drawn in to the sincerity and honesty with which you told the world about your Halloween romp.

Your words were short, sweet, to the point and engaging and the photos you presented supported your post in the fullest. (Do I sound like a school-teacher yet?)

I am so glad that you had a fabulous time at the Downtown Independent! Now, for those of us home-bodies reading, what exactly IS the Downtown Independent?

And just because I’m your biggest fan and want to dress up as you for next Halloween, what precisely were you dressed as?

Taking Notes,
