Sharon, and the beaded necklaces

July 29, 2010

Many of you have asked me about the beaded necklaces that we sold last month from women with AIDS in Uganda.

I went and visited Sharon, this week. She is providing for her children to go to school, paying rent and buying food through profits from necklaces sold in the states!

To find out about helping to distribute necklaces for women like Sharon, email

Step 1. Roll a small strip of paper around a needle.

Step 2. Glue the rolled paper into a bead.

Step 3. Put a finish on it, and lay it in the sun to harden for a day.
