Today's post is on Alex, who I visited Monday:
Alex Muribu lives in a small house in a village outside Kakooge. His one room home has a bed, a shelf for dishes, and a space for jerry cans: yellow jugs holding the brownish colored water that his family is using to drink and cook with. Alex is open with visitors about his battle with AIDS. He has seen other members of the community helped by the aid that Life With Hope has given, and it has motivated several people like him to become open about a disease that has long been a stigma in his community.
