Discovered: there is a march against trafficking, this August, the weekend that I just might be home in my crazy trapeze walk of an attempt to see my family somewhere between returning from Africa and starting school (late).
Those of you who are consistently in the area, however, might want to register here for sacmarch.
The march begins and ends at Cesar Chavez Park.
Registration runs from 8-10 am. Opening ceremony is at 9:30 am. The official march begins at 10 am, and runs till about 1:00 pm.
All proceeds go to local organizations working against slavery and trafficking in Sacramento and around the world.

Maybe I'll even see you there!
